
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Panel: where to start, how to build and stay the course
The APAC region is one that is made up of more than 40 different countries and home to so many diverse and inspiring communications professionals. Join our panel of experts, including Linda Lim of Dow, who will offer advice on how to develop, implement and sustain Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives for our region. Participants will learn best practices, the challenges and opportunities in creating inclusive and equitable outcomes and how to truly celebrate diverse viewpoints.
This event is especially for IABC members and volunteers. IABC Members may also invite key organisational leaders who may play a key role in D,E&I. On registration, invitees will be asked to provide the name of the IABC Member who referred them to the event.

Linda Lim

Introducing your first panel speaker, Linda is Dow’s Asia Pacific GLAD leader and site implementation leader for the Singapore chapter, which she established in 2018, and Employee Resource Group is voluntary at Dow.
As a business communications director, Linda leads both the Asia Pacific region’s packaging and specialty plastics communications team and global communications for Dow’s sponsorship of the Olympic Games. Linda is currently serving her third term on the International Olympic Committee’s Communications Commission and will also be joining the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore’s accreditation board for the 2020-2022 term.

Having started her career as an Occupational Therapist working in both public and private sector in Australia and the UK, Nicole moved into the D&I space in 2014 during her time with PwC Australia. Now with DLA Piper as the APAC Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Manager, Nicole uses her collective experience to work with the firms offices across the diverse region to design and deliver D&I strategy and programs that meet the countries individual needs and create sustainable change to enhance the inclusion and equality experience for all.
