IABC Asia Pacific is pleased to announce Sia Papageorgiou, FRSA, SCMP, has been selected as the winner of the 2021 IABC Asia Pacific Communicator of the Year Award – Senior Communication Professional.
We received many 2021 COTY entries from communicators from across Asia Pacific who demonstrated communication excellence and leadership. It was a very competitive field this year and Sia’s submission stood out above the rest.
IABC Asia Pacific recognises Sia, a member of Australia’s Victoria Chapter, as this year’s Communicator of the Year because of her tremendous contributions to the communications profession in Asia Pacific and across IABC. She has published numerous articles about the role of technology and artificial intelligence in communications, advanced the body of knowledge in communications excellence by training hundreds of communicators in the value and visibility of strategic communications, created an online self-assessment tool for communications competencies, and donated her time as a leader in IABC at the local, regional and international level.
Sia also just won two 2021 Gold Quills to add to her long list of accolades and awards.
We celebrate Sia for her continued passion and efforts to deliver the best of the best in communications excellence day in and day out.
Please join us in congratulating Sia on being named IABC Asia Pacific’s 2021 Communicator of the Year, and have a watch of her interview video below:
