We’re here for our members at large in the Asia Pacific region. We’re also stronger together, which is why each month you now have the opportunity to come together with other members and regional leaders in our monthly Talking Point meet-ups.
Each online meet-up will be based on a specific topic, or talking point, to discuss. All participants are encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences relating to the issue.
The meet-ups won’t be recorded, and the spirit of Chatham House rules apply (so what happens in the session, stays in the session), however, you may like to share your general thoughts online.
These are member-only events, but members can invite one guest to each session.
Held on the third Tuesday of each month until July, each Talking Point session will be short, sharp, fun, and to-the-point. You’ll make some great contacts throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Our first topic is “The new era of corporate influencers”.
We’ll talk about the rise of professional communicators as influencers for the organisation they represent. One question we’ll explore is “who tells the head of comms what they should (or should not) do on social media, when it’s usually them making the call for the corporation?”.
Join us for our first session on 21 March at 1pm AEDT (time converter)
