Talking Point 2024: Relevant Discussions On Current Issues

IABC APAC Talking Point sessions 2024

IABC APAC’s Talking Point sessions are back for 2024!

We’re here for our members across the Asia Pacific region. We’re also stronger together, which is why each month, you now have the opportunity to come together with other members and regional leaders in our monthly Talking Point Meet-ups.

Each 45-minute online meet-up will be based on a specific topic, or Talking Point, to discuss. All participants are encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences relating to the issue.

The meet-ups won’t be recorded, and the spirit of confidentiality akin to Chatham House Rules applies (so what happens in the session stays in the session); however, you may like to share your general thoughts online.

These events are exclusive to members, but members can invite one guest to each session.

Held on the third Tuesday of each month until November, each Talking Point session will be short, sharp, fun, and to the point. You’ll make some great contacts throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Our first topic is “AI and Communication, the Risks, Benefits and Pain Points” on 20 February 2024 at 2pm AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time, time converter).

All sessions are capped at 20 participants, and you must register to attend via the links below.

Get in quick – places are limited. We hope to see you there!

Tuesday’s scheduled Talking Point sessions are as follows:

19-Mar-24: Selling the value of Internal Comms in 2024

18-Apr-24: Media trends in the Asia Pacific

14-May-24: Professional Development for Professional Communicators
