Barbara Pesel new Regional Chair
Barbara Pesel, managing director of Pesel & Carr, a Melbourne-based strategic communications agency, has stepped up to the role of Regional Chair of the International Association of Business Communicators, Asia Pacific board.
Barbara takes over from Ross Monaghan who has been a passionate advocate for IABC in the APAC region, serving in numerous roles since 2020.
“We thank Ross for his dedication to IABC where he contributed many volunteer hours, much expertise and connected and supported communications professionals at all stages of their careers,” Ms Pesel said.
“I’m looking forward to working with the board so that together we can continue to celebrate and highlight the incredible diversity of our region, harnessing its potential to further benefit communications professionals, elevate our profession, and support the meaningful work we do across industries,” she said
IABC Asia Pacific will host its Fusion conference in Manila, Philippines on 17 and 18 March 2025.
