Ready to Shine? The 2026 IABC Gold Quill Awards are open

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is excited to announce that entries are now open for the 2026 Gold Quill Awards.

These awards are the ultimate way to boost your career, grow your skills, and get noticed in the world of professional communications.

Every year, communicators from all backgrounds – agencies big and small, start-ups, consultants, non-profits, schools, governments, and large companies – throw their hats in the ring. Why? Because the Gold Quill isn’t just a trophy. It’s a powerful way to showcase your talent, build your reputation, and set yourself apart from your peers.

With four divisions and 29 categories, there’s a place for every specialty, from media relations and internal comms to breakthrough work with AI, research, and marketing.

Entries are evaluated by experienced professionals from the industry, so when you win, you know you’ve truly earned it. You’ll get feedback from people who know your craft, and more importantly, you’ll learn, grow, and open new doors for your future career.

Each year, the Gold Quill Awards attract hundreds of entries from communication professionals across the globe, keen to be recognised for their outstanding achievements and impactful projects.

In 2025, winning entries were submitted from the communications teams at the Philippines Energy Development Corporation, the Australian Securities & Investment Commission, Megaworld Foundation and Allianz Australia, amongst others, and in recent years, teams at the University of the Philippines, Woolworths and the ABS-CBN Corporation were successful.

“As communications professionals, we’re always looking to stretch ourselves and make a real impact. The Gold Quill Awards are about celebrating bold thinking and raising the bar for everyone in our field,” said Mandy Gibson, Chair of the IABC’s Awards Committee.

Chair of IABC Asia-Pacific Barbara Pesel added, “Winning a Gold Quill isn’t just recognition – it’s a career milestone. It means you’ve created work that matters, demonstrating how strategic communication drives organisational success. It’s also a great way to inspire the next generation of communication innovation and societal progress across the region.”

So, if you’re ready for your work to be seen, recognised and celebrated worldwide, this is your moment. Winning a Gold Quill doesn’t just look amazing on your résumé – it shapes your skills and your journey as a communicator.

Winners will be announced following the comprehensive judging process, with recognition ceremonies held to celebrate the achievements of communication professionals who demonstrate the highest standards of excellence in their field.

For more details go to: IABC > Awards and Recognition > Gold Quill and submit your award entry by 7 December in time for the early bird discount.
